In The Bleak Midwinter - A Song Of Hope & Sunny Sightings

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in - Leonard Cohen

Some rays of light in the bleak midwinter. A few hours ago, this little bird lit in front of our living room window. He peeped in and told us that if he was singing outside in the cold, then surely we should be. But these sunny man-made yellows I snapped against the snow are nothing compared to the light of God. And Leonard Cohen WAS right; the light always gets in.

"The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." John 1:5

Yellow always brightens up any day. Did you know that today is Mellow Yellow Monday? These are all perfect photos for that meme. Click on the link on my post today and check it out.

Oh Ginny, the little bird is so sweet. He is telling you Spring is just around the corner. I love the yellow in each of your photos. The snowman with the yellow hat made me giggle.
Have a wonderful day, stay warm and safe.

You got a great picture of the bird. And thanks for sharing those cheery yellows with us. They certainly help brighten a cold gray day.
