Blinded By The Light

Don't you just hate driving straight into the sun? I actually enjoyed it tonight, because it was sunset and I was in the passenger seat with my camera. As my husband drove, I snapped. Like the title of my blog says, I am all about the light.

"I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them" Isaiah 42:16

Annie, this one's for you.

Normally I don't like driving into the sun but if it looked like your beautiful photos I would not mind at all.

Your new header photo is gorgeous Ginny, I love to see all the colors of fall. Our leaves haven't turned that much yet but it won't be long.

love the power of the Son...(sun) and that scripture means so much to me...b/c He's doing it in my life...turning the darkness into light.

Wonderful!!!!! I'm not sure which is my favorite. All three should be framed and hung together. Do you ever do that?

And your header-- I still want to blow it up and secure it to my window and reminisce.

Best,
Bonnie

It's at these times when the sun is so bright and low in the sky that a lot of people drive too fast for the circumstances and cause accidents. What a beautiful photo! Your header photograph is simply gorgeous too! Thanks for the Scripture verse! I much prefer to walk in the LIGHT and thank the Lord that He will not forsake, though there are rough places. What a comfort!

it sure is pretty and it sure is blinding. I am glad Phil was not blinded by this light and got you safely home and glad you are both blinded by THE light.

I love taking pictures of the sun. They are always the same but yet different. Love these photos.

That reminds me of one time driving into the setting sun through San Francisco. Very scary for a very young driver not used to all those highways.

Great shots.

Thank you so much Ginny. As you learned, when you visited just a few minutes ago, I'm taking a little break and doing a lot of catch up around the house and in blogworld reading. These photos are just gorgeous. Thank you for shedding the light in my direction. It's doing its job.

Love
Annie

Some times it is hard to drive when the sun is straight in our eyes - but oh the sun is so wonderful. What would we do without it?

And I guess you could also use the world Son in it's place too. Sometimes he convicts us, but what would we do without Him?

Great pictures and I love that tree with the oranges.

Love,
sandie

Hey Ginny - gorgeous header - love those colors! Love the sun - and I'm glad you weren't driving when you took those shots! I much prefer to be the passenger when heading into that kind of light.

Thanks for that verse. It fits me tonight!! ;o)

You got a beautiful ball of fire. Fortunately the sun is behind me when I go to work.

I am amazed how God was in controlled even in little things. Did I tell you I did the floral arrangement for the summit.

Don't know why, they forgot to get the usual floral arrangement people to do the florals. The night before, someone mentioned," Oh Dear, we forgot to get someone to do the flowers in the auditorium." "Well, we just have to forget it."

I was meant to do for the lounge where we were serving food. I did 3 vases, they took one vase to the auditorium. Yesterday, the usual person for Sunday did not do it, and my flowers were still looking very fresh.

Even my husband who normally don't look at flowers said my flowers were very nice.

Having just done this this very evening as the driver, I can say that it was pretty rough going. Once the sun set, though, ohhh the beauty. Thank you for your visits and comments! Love meeting new to me bloggers...

When you go to Pt Chevalier, you can see the sun looking into the sea.

When one has an abundance of something, we tend to take for granted. Most of the lunch time, we are too lazy to go out and sit in the staff room.

In winter, it is not too good as it rains and the wind is very strong. If I do go, it is the in between time when I return from my church ESOl class to school.
