The Bucket

To my longsuffering guys, who have patiently had to look at three posts about purses, this one's for you! Yesterday, after we annoyed the sleepy geese, we headed to our local soft serve ice-cream stand, and this is what we found showing off and driving around in the parking lot. This is called a T-Bucket, and it is a special type of hot rod. It is built with replica parts to resemble a Model T car. It was so cute as it zipped around. The owner was very nice to pose for me. And take a good look at the tire, what is that red thing on it? The proud owner used dice to cap the the tire's air stems! I could have kicked the tires of the Bucket, but I didn't. Here's something that the book of Revelation says about kicking the bucket.

"They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever...Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life." Rev. 22

He didn't take you for a spin?

Yes, there are huge rats. last year we went away for a holiday for three weeks in Winter. They moved in, ate everything in packets in the panty, slept in my nice soft wardrobe. Exercise their teeth on most of my clothing.

I just had to throw out the infested clothing. So I got baits, lots of them. after three packs, they stopped coming.

I alway leave a pellet on the kitchen floor. Every now and then, the raid it and take it away.

Not nice, I have a rat phobia since I learn about the rats causing the London plague.

before we started baiting them, we set traps, but later they became too smart for the snap traps.

They are really huge, before we could see them walking in the kitchen even at 8pm. Anedwe have lights on in the lounge adjacent to the kitchen,

Another plus of getting rid of the rats, we also got rid of the terrible fleas. I just remarked to my husband that this whole year, we had not been bitten by fleas. he said,You remember the fleas came with the rats?

That is a totally cool hot rod, I have never seen one quite like it before. The little dice stem covers are really cute.

But you didn't get a ride?

No free lifts around the parking lot? Great car. I've always admired individuals who take the time to build something like this,

What a great car! Someone has invested lots of fun-time and funds-at-times to build such a beautiful machine! Investing time in the right way will pay when it comes kick-the-bucket time.

Good Morning, Ginny...... Oh --don't you know that that man (why is it that when you see fancy dancy cars or vehicles--you always see an OLDER man driving them?????) is having fun with his 'expensive' toy?????

Up here, with this good weather, we see alot of convertibles driving around with their tops down... AGAIN, it was mostly OLDER men driving them... Guess the men are re-living their childhoods --with these fancy cars.....

I do know that my brother bought himself an MG once when I was a teenager --and he let me drive it.... I loved that little MG...

Great post --and a neat looking vehicle!!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

You should have asked to drive it! Not for a ride. But, guess it was o.k. to just photograph it!

Best,

What a hot rod! I've never seen one like it!! Of course, I love the red!

I smiled when I saw your title! Last night we drove around my FIL's pasture, and I noticed a rusted old bucket with a big dent in it . . . and that phrase came to my mind: "Someone must have kicked the bucket!"

The Scripture you used is one of great promise, isn't it?

That is really cool. Don't tell me that tree is from this year. If it is, I won't see any color. The leaves will be gone.
