I'm Home!

Hi to all my wonderful and loyal friends!! I got home yesterday at lunchtime. So I will give you a status report now. I got away with no bedsores except for one on my elbow. I am not healing as I should and should not have this much pain by now. So the hospital doctor has prolonged the drugs till I go to my own doctor next Wednesday for maybe more tests. I got a hiatus hernia from so much violent vomiting, but since that is much better, it should subside and be no problem. I have come away with something maybe torn in my good knee, necessitating us to get handicapped equipment for the bathroom; also a badly pulled back muscle that makes it very hard to stand. I'm hoping maybe an injection or something next week will fix that. My big accomplishment today was being able to clean out the toaster oven crumb tray!!! Other than that, Phil has to guide me around and do everything for me, he has taken emergency leave from work. Your wonderful and uplifting comments have made me both laugh and cry, and I can feel the love in them. I have the most wonderful followers in the WORLD!! I should take at least three weeks to heal, if nothing else is wrong with me, so I have to take it slowly!! I will be visiting all your blogs in a few days, but need to start slow, I WILL get there! I already have many posts in my mind! Your prayers and comments have meant more to me than you will EVER know, you are each so special and I am so blessed to have each of you!!! Hope to see you and what you've been up to real soon, I can't wait!!!!! By the way, isn't my header pretty? It is a fabric hanging in the hospital, with the hospital curved walls and pillars reflected in it. If you look closely, you can see my shadow in the lower right corner.

I am so glad that you are home. Being OUT of the hospital is a good thing --so that one can get WELL.. Sounds like you have a really good helper there. Thanks to Phil.

Hope the doctors can 'fix' all that is wrong... May God Bless YOU--and Phil. I'm glad that your church is doing so much to help also..

God Bless...
Prayers and Much Love,
Betsy

Omigoodness, Ginny Luv. You just can't keep a photographer down. Love the header. I hope you keep this one up for a while. And yes, I see your reflection in the corner.

I'm so happy you are home and very very happy that the weather is not being brutal in your part of the world. It's hard enough being sick without having the world feel like it is falling apart around you.

God bless you and Phil. I pray to Holy Mother that she keep her loving hand upon you and guide you back to health.

Love
Annie

Home and your own bed is always the best place to rest... no one to wake you up to give you a pill to go to sleep! ;)

I no we are not suppose to fully understand all the things that happen. It such a shame that someone as good and kind as you has to suffer so much. May you soon be feeling much better.

I'm glad that you've made it home, and I hope this is quickly followed by the return of good health and no aches and pains. Hospitals are definitely not fun. I do think the fact that you were taking pictures in the hospital is a good sign that you are on the road to recovery.

So glad you are home and "on the way". Have Phil make you a strong hot toddy or something like that. I don't drink but I've heard they cure all. :)

Ginny!! I almost jumped off my chair as I read the latest comment on my blog!! So GOOD to know that you're home!!!

Take things easy now. I hope you heal soon...but at least you're no longer in the hospital! It's wonderful to see a different header...very pretty...and I love the reflections and the curved wall. Guess what? When you were in the hospital and the header picture remained the same I had a feeling that something was wrong. Glad those days are over. Take your time Ginny, with your visits I mean. You still need to rest...Take care!:)

You got the best nurse. Good job Phil.

Am praying for you.

My interview will be out next Thursday. I will let you know.

Got another piece of good news, a buyer from a chain of Christian bookshop wanted a copy of my book before committing herself.

I wish I was living in your town, so I can come and cook you some Chinese food, and sit with you and just talk. So I send you cyber food, for Dragon Boat festival.

You had commented before, that was one year ago.

It is cooking in the pot, for this Sat. I won't be there as I will be speaking at the NEW ZEaland baptist Women's annual event.

I was so very happy to see your comments and to know that you are home and on the way to getting better. Remember that the Lord gave us one day at at a time and that is how you have to take them. I do like the wall hanging at the hospital. But, what I like better is that you were feeling well enough to get a picture of it for your blog header!

Welcome Home!!! Leave it up to you to find beauty around you, even in the hospital, but you know something, a lot of people walk around in a dream/daze and not even "see" the life around them - they live in a tunnel and if you really, consciously choose to look, really look, there IS beauty around us, even if it's not a beautiful situation we're in at the moment...Take good care of yourself and take it slow. I will continue to pray for your health. You have a great hubby to help you and that is a blessing.

Love to you both,
Doris and the Gizz :-)

Welcome Home Ginny. I am so sorry this is so late and I am the last to post - but not the last to say I've been thinking and praying for you every day. I feel so bad and wish there was more I could do for you.

It sounds like a mess- but I believe that you and God can work this out.

If there is anything I can do -please let me know. And of course prayers and hugs.

Love,
sandie
