Small Town Freedom

"To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father-to him be glory and power forever and ever! Amen."

Nothing like small town spirit. Kind of like small churches: much more supportive and like family.

I have lived in big cities and towns and there is nothing quite like small town living. These are all great decorations Ginny, your town definitely gets into the spirit of the holiday. The cutout kids are so cute.

how big is your town? It is good to be patriotic.

The Chinese snacks are no good for you, a lot of salt, preservatives and I think MSG. When you eat, you want to eat more and more, Then you get very thirsty.

super duper A plus on the header flag shot. WOW, love it lots. yesterday we talked about why there is nothing here like you have up there. our yards have no 4th decorations our town has not a single one, anywhere, and i looked. a few flags but they hang there all the time. not one decoration could i find and you have them every where. the only thing out town did was make massive noise at 10:30 last night that woke me up. fireworks that could be heard for miles around. i am wondering why now

It took me a minute to notice that your font was red and blue on a white background. Well done! The images are so colorful, too.

I love the feeling I get in "small town" America. The freedom I feel here is so difficult to describe to those who have never known it. Of course the greatest freedom (freedom from sin) is available to all men everywhere through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!

We haven't had hail like that here in a long time.

Hi Ginny, Love the patriotic bird abode! Have a super nice Tuesday!

If you ask me nothing beats living in a small town. I'll take that over a big city any day.
You and Phil were quite brave yesterday getting that video. What a storm

Beautiful patriotic images to remind us of our freedom as Americans. . . and perfect Scripture to remind us of our spiritual freedom!

Freedom is precious to us all regardless of what size town we live in. Nice post.

What great displays of patriotism. Freedom is wonderful, but freedom is not free. It costs a lot of lives of brave men and women willing to fight for our country.

I suspect you had a nice family gathering. Gizzy and I stayed home (as usual) and I watched the Macy's Fireworks that was streaming live on the computer on UstreamTV - that was amazing - they always have the best ones! Gizzy snoozed through the whole thing! He's a very accomplished endurance snoozer due to years and years of practice (13 1/2 to be exact!)

Love,
