A Panda's Life

Tonight I fed a very hungry panda bear. And while a panda's diet consists almost entirely of bamboo, this panda ate a hot dog. She ate it by peeling the skin off and eating the skin and the hot dog separately. Whatever works! In this video, she is telling you about her panda bear pajamas. She does not really wear glasses, she put Phil's reading glasses on for dramatic effect. One reason our granddaughter Anne Marie may like pandas is that they are from China, like her. They live in the Chinese mountains. Pandas are rare and very endangered, there are only about 1,000 left in the wild. One other thing, they are solitary...think there's any connection?

That is a cute video, Anne Marie is adorable. Those glasses did give the video a dramatic effect. :)

Pandas are just cute creatures, it's hard not to like them. I would love to see them sometime, so far the only ones I have seen have been in photos or on tv.

Ps....love your Christmas office celebration below this post too. 42 years...that's awesome. Now-a-days the resumés of the younger generation looks like a list from OZ with all the jobs held for only a year or two.

You have to love the mind of a child. It was precious to here her talk about make believe.

Anne Marie is absolutely adorable! I can understand why she likes Panda Bears. I started collecting Panda Bears as a teen. I saw them at Busch Gardens back in 1987 or 1988. They brought them there for a very short period of time. I actually have the poster from that visit framed and in my master bath. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

She's so cute!! What catches my attention in a couple of the photos is the gum drop tree! We always had one growing up; it was one of my favorite decorations! It brings back wonderful memories of finding just the right size thorn branches and making our own little tree. Later, we did have a store-bought one and for several years I had one when the boys were little. Great memories!

She is beyond precious. I like "drama" of using Phil's glasses for effect. I was a very dramatic child, still am, hehe. You are blessed to have not one but two beautiful little granddaughters to spend times with.
