Rumors circulate around the schoolyard: kids who draw or wear white socks and bring violins to school on Wednesdays might have cooties. I confess to having yielded to these pressures.

Cooties was a very popular game back in the fifties, when I was a kid. I wanted it really BAD. It seemed like all the other kids had it, but not me. The reason being given was we were "not made of money". I never did get that Cootie game, but am so glad that is is kind of a classic and is still around!! I have finally bought the Cootie game at the age of 63!! And now I can show Ella and Anne the fun of it while I enjoy it right along with them. It makes me feel like I am 9 again, and that's not a bad thing. Have you ever had Cooties? And is there a game that YOU really wanted and did not get?
“Since God has so generously let us in on what he is doing, we’re not about to throw up our hands and walk off the job just because we run into occasional hard times. We refuse to wear masks and games…we don’t twist God’s Word to suit ourselves.”
