Update On ME

Shortly before my eye surgery, Anne and I made these reindeer. Aren't they cute? They consist of mini donuts, broken mini pretzels, and peanut M&M's. So easy to make! And she loved them, plus she only ate ONE! Just be sure and remember to put the M facing down! I had my eye surgery and it went well... but since I cannot wear my glasses and there is still swelling, It is very hard to see and things are blurry. I am also off balance and Phil has to lead me around at times. All to be expected. It will be better after the surgery on the other eye on the 16th. I am currently using NINE eye drops a day and will be until way into February. So I am hoping to resume posting at the end of this month! And I can't WAIT!! I am wondering what you have all been up to!! SEE you better than ever later in the month!!

The reindeer are so cute and what a fun little project! I know you will be so glad to have both eyes done. My husband had his eyes done too and I remember all those eye drops. We had to write it down to keep up with it!

I love the inventiveness of the reindeer cakes, not sure about the sweet and savoury together.
Sending you all good thoughts and hoping you recover in record time, anything to do with the eyes is not nice.
Lots of love

I know you look forward to having this behind you. Glad all is going good. Miss your post, but I'm sure you will have lots to share with us when you get back. Around here, we are just trying to stay warm. I know we have it very light compared to many others in the East. Hope you stay warm and heal quickly.

Hi Ginny, So happy that your eye operation went smoothly. Yes, do use those drops. My own eyes itched terribly while healing. The drops sting but gee, they sure did help. By the way, it did get down to 31 here this AM but not any lower. Have a great day tomorrow!
