Peach Blossoms 2014-At The Orchard

Last Friday, we went to the Peach Orchard. The trees were a bit past their bloom, so my pictures are not as good as last years. Anyway, here are the best of them. From this stage, peaches will not be ready to pick until June or July. The last picture shows you what a peach tree looks like, small and gnarly. But how beautiful and what wonderful fruit it will produce! I hope to be the same way when I get older.

“‘I’ll make a covenant of peace with them. ..I’ll send down plenty of rain in season—showers of blessing! The trees in the orchards will bear fruit, the ground will produce, they’ll feel content and safe on their land, and they’ll realize that I am God when I break them out of their slavery and rescue them from their slave masters.”

I remember the beautiful pictures from last year...and the sight this year is also so beautiful! Pink flowers and green/yellow ground make it look like colorful carpet. How lovely!

Oh my dear Ginny....YOU ARE wonderful, sweet and beautiful right now, you can only become sweeter.

Lovely images...they [the trees] seem to be trimmed?!! Or is this just my imagination?

Makes me want to drive out to see the Peach Orchard in the county we live in just to look at the beautiful pinks.

Looks like they will have lots of delicious peaches this summer. YUM.

It doesn't matter how the tree looks,it's the fruit that counts and the peaches are delicious.

Those trees are so beautiful Ginny. I love the pink against the blue sky. When I was a child growing up in GA we would go to an orchard every summer and pick fresh peaches. I remember eating them fresh from the tree and they were delicious.

Ginny you already have produced good fruit! No worries. And I love peaches.

I love your analogy Ginny. I have a feeling you will most definitely be like the peach trees even if your body is gnarly and old. Your sweetness will shine through just like it always has. :) Hope you're doing well!

That is a beautiful sight! I love peaches and our little dwarf tree we planted looks like it will be loaded this year. I know you will always produce fruit no matter your age, my friend! You already do. Take care and have a nice afternoon!
