All They Need Is The Air That They Breathe

Well, here are the three plants that I bought. They look like spider plants, but did you notice that they were not planted in dirt? They do not need any dirt. The live on air! They are called Epiphytes, or Air Plants. And since they were less than a dollar apiece, I couldn't resist! They sold ones that were much larger and had different leaves, but they cost more. They are able to absorb all their nutrients and water through their leaves. You can lay them anywhere, a saucer or just a table. All they need is some decent light and sprayed with water once in awhile. No dirt or potting. If these do well, I may go back and buy some bigger ones. Here is what they look like as a kaleidoscope.

“I wonder why you care, God— why do you bother with us at all? All we are is a puff of air; we’re like shadows in a campfire.”

Psalm 144

Mercy Me... I've never seen or heard of these Air Plants. They do look like Spider Plants though... Interesting.

HI Ginny es air plants, that would have been my second guess and certainly these shots do look more like them I used to have a small one many years ago and of course they have many of them in Australia.

they are amazing plants and nice looking too. I wonder if I would do better with an air plant than I do with regular plants. I have no green thumb at all

Now these are interesting plants. Maybe my black thumb wouldn't kill this one.

Wow, wouldn't it be good if we could live on air, no more shopping or cooking, lol
Thanks for the comment on the boxed cats. Rupert looks big but he's all fur and quite skinny underneath, that's how he manages to get all of him into the box. lol
