The Secret Of The Box

Here is the reveal! This weekend a young couple who had grown up in our church got married. They gave out these origami boxes to all the guests. BUT here is the amazing part. It was a big wedding with about 150 guests, and the bride made ALL the boxes herself! During the reception, someone took the bottom of the box apart to see how hard it really was to make. He could never get it back together. They were filled with bubble liquid so we could blow bubbles at the happy couple as they left.

“Jesus said, “When you’re celebrating a wedding, you don’t skimp on the cake and wine. You feast. Later you may need to pull in your belt, but not now. As long as the bride and groom are with you, you have a good time.”
Mark 2

What an intricate little box, a real work of art. Such a clever idea also. I wonder how long it took her to make all those boxes!?

I've always loved the idea of bubbles after the newlyweds leave the ceremony and reception!!

What intricate work. Making that many for all the guests --- she musta known she was going to get married when she was a teenager and started early...what a project!!

I can't imagine making 150 of those little boxes. they are very nice.
Bubbles are a nice alternative to the old tradition of throwing rice

Wow, that is really a special box! Hand-made by the bride! It must have taken so much time and patience to make for about 150 guests. But also, it must have been beautiful when everyone blew bubbles :-)

150 boxes. The bride is very accomplished. Takes a long time and a lot of effort to do that

How fun and delightful.
To answer your question..no the winery doesn't belong to them. they had been there before and thought it would be a nice place to enjoy a lovely brunch. And it was.

OH how neat... AND--she MADE all of those boxes... My My--she must have had alot of time in order to do that..

And how neat to use bubbles when they were leaving... That is so much less messy other than rice and other things they used to use... Love that idea.

Hugs,
Betsy
