Mystery Flower

A bit of sunshine on this earth.
They make me laugh and filled with mirth.
They're new to me, not seen before
I want to look at more and more!
Next year I want them in my yard
Would finding them be very hard?
So take a look and take a guess.
On my next post I will confess.

Pretty blossom. I cannot see the leaves or tell how tall it it, but I bet it's a Jerusalem artichoke.

Such beautiful flowers! I love yellow flowers, like sunflower. They look so cheerful. No idea what this is though. It is really mystery flower to me :-)

It is some type of Aster? I feel like it is on the tip of my tongue but I just can't ID it with certainty. What ever it turns out to be it's gorgeous and you took lovely photos of the pretty yellow flowers. I enjoyed your poem too and this whole post made me feel happy. Thanks Ginny and have a great week :)

Love that yellow... My post tomorrow will show more of the pretty yellows of late summer/early fall... I don't have anything like yours --so I suspect they are the flowers of some veggie.... Hope you find them.
Hugs,
Betsy

Nice poem. I'm enjoying all the yellow flowers both in gardens and the fileds of goldenrod. It is a beautiful time of the year.

Looks like a wild yellow daisy. We have something similar that grows along the roadside. I want them in my yard too!! So pretty.

This isn't a rose, so I have no idea as to the kind of flower it is. All I know is that it is cheery and beautiful.

They are beautiful and your poem ... Love it! I have no idea so I will not even venture a guess. I always have to ask someone else what a flower is...

I used to know what the flower is but can't pull it up from the furrows of my brain. I think it looks a lot like the flower I posted several posts ago.
To answer your question, yes it is our pomegranate tree. It's the only tree to give us a decent crop this year. No pears, just a few peaches and plums and no almonds. Drought and crazy weather have done a number on the crops.
