Santa Visits The Eiffel Tower

Last Christmas, we took Anne Marie to a special house. This house is on a hill, and can be seen on the interstate from far away. It is an elderly couple's home! Each year, they make it into a Christmas House. And every night for a couple weeks, the man dresses up like Santa and invites everyone into the huge courtyard, giving out candy canes. There are many lights and just EVERYTHING to see and hear. Anne thought it was magical. For some reason, there are several large Eiffel Towers beside Santa! Perhaps he has a fondness for French food, oui?

God spoke: “Lights! Come out! Shine in Heaven’s sky! Separate Day from Night. Mark seasons and days and years, Lights in Heaven’s sky to give light to Earth.” And there it was.
Genesis 1

WOW! It is not easy to photograph lights at night and you have done very well. The colours are lovely.

Oh Ginny, this place is so beautiful especially with all the colourful lights. So nice of the couple to open their house for the Christmas season and taking the trouble to put up all the decorations. Thank you for sharing these pictures with us.

Wow, it sure looks magical! What a beautiful decoration. The couple must really love Christmas! I see two Eiffel Towers. Maybe they have been to France and enjoyed food, sights, etc :-)

What fun for all!! I remember taking the children to a similar place when they were small. It was magical for me as well.

Best,

the tower is odd for Christmas, maybe they are French? but they are beautiful and full of lights. also looks like one is a circus tent made of lights. we have one here that is done in Red white and Blue, the whole place...

I'm not sure how the Eiffel tower fits in to the Christmas theme but if they like it that's what counts.
I can't imagine putting all those decorations up and even worse having to take them all down and pack them up. Nice that they do that though

The lights are amazing, it is so nice of the couple to open their display to everyone. I have seen Eiffel tower ornaments on Christmas trees but never yard displays. Very strange but also very pretty.
