The Red Planet

For the last few days, Mars has been so close to earth that you can see it with your bare eyes. In the southeast, it is the biggest and brightest star in the sky, twinkling red.

Go ahead and laugh, but I just HAD to try. I do not have a fancy camera or a tripod, but I do have a good zoom. I did not change the color of these pictures, it was RED, turning more purplish after midnight.

Guess I was not aware of the moon changing. You did a great job on catching it in so many phases. I doubt my point and shoot would do this good. Glad you shared and trust all is well with you and family.
