Rock On!

Someone left this rock on the ground outside our dentist's office door. Maybe a patient?

We passed this rock at the top of some steps. I don't have a clue what it is. It is not near a college or sports field.

When I was a little girl, I would find rocks, paint them, and keep them in a shoe box. But none were as big as these.

“With that Moses raised his arm and slammed his staff against the rock—once, twice. Water poured out. Congregation and cattle drank.”

I think these rocks are great but I don't know that Texas has caught on yet!

I found one that had bible verses on it at a park several months ago. Done really pretty. I picked it up, and moved it to another location for someone else to do the same [or keep it].

It's kinda fun.

Cute rock. The trend seems to have fizzled out some around here. I don't hear about it as much as I did before

I have never found a painted rock but that might be because I have not looked. unless they put it in front of Walmart, YMCA, Publix or my house, I will not see it... the trend seems to be reaching mega proportions because I see them on blogs and FB...

The rock with smiley tooth is so cute! And the big rock - it must have taken a lot of paint to color the whole thing! I collected some rocks - usually round ones - when I was small. I didn't paint, I just admired how cute they were :-)

It seems that rocks hold a certain fascination to many. I am still intrigued by pretty rocks.
The music festival I attend each year has. guest speaker who always brings a basket of polished rocks. He invites us to take a rock as a remembrance of this time together.

I painted rocks with the boys many times. They still like to do it. Atticus painted a turtle on his rock last year when we painted rocks. I add the rocks to my garden.

Have a great weekend. I will get a photo of me and my mom for you.

I like the painted rocks. I think it is a great to paint the rocks and leave them in public places.
