The Wreaths

There are still quite a few wreaths up in the neighborhood. Here are a few that stood out to me, plus one that I made.

This one has a sleigh in the center.

This one looks more like spring to me.

This was on my kitchen wall.

I made this one and hung it in the living room.

Good-bye, kind year, we walk no more together
But here in quiet happiness we part;
And from thy wreath of faded fern and heather
I take some sprays, and wear them on my heart.

I love wreaths. All my Christmas ones are still up. Once we go to the ranch ....and stay for awhile.....and come back home......I think I will be ready to pack Christmas away. Next year I am starting earlier! Then it will come down earlier. Of course that means I must put fall up earlier because I do not want to cheat myself out of that celebration. As soon as the 4th of July is over I would be good with putting fall up. I won't, though. I will put out and up all my sunflower debris and THEN start sneaking in the fall stuff little by little until by September first - it's all DONE!!!

Oh Ginny, the one you made is so pretty. The pink and yellow one doesn't look Christmasy at all. You're right, it does look more like spring. I like the one with the sled on it

Love on door 525 maybe because it's so different...

I really like the wreath you made, although the one with the sled is cute.

Well done, Ginny! I think your wreaths are the most 'Christmassy!"

they are all pretty and i love wreathes with lights. if i had to pick a favorite it would be the pink door and the many bows wreathe, number 3 photo. at first i thought the sleigh was wind chimes hanging in it.

I like the ones you made with the white flowers and ribbon. I have never seen a lighted bow before: the red bow with the white lights. I love that because, from a distance at night, the bows sometimes don't show up!

What creative wreaths you made.
Love all the ones you captured. I really hated to take mine down but it's on to other things.
Thank you Ginny for being a faithful follower of my blog.
I lost so many when I stopped doing ABC Wednesday. Now my blog seems to be my yearly journal that I have printed in book form. Hopefully my kids will enjoy it sometime in the future.
My goodness, I sound sad today. Sorry about that. I guess getting older puts me in a reflective mood.
(((hugs)))

A Full House
