Cuteness

Last week, Dara won student of the week. She got a coupon for a free Sweet Frog treat! I love the missing front tooth, and will be kind of sad when the new one is in.

I love that dress on her. And what a smile!

Thank you for your interest in my dogs. I can't remember the name of Samson's illness. It is a chronic dermatology illness that also can affect a dog's eyes, causing blindness. He went suddenly blind when he was three and fortunately the vet knew what it was a began intensive treatment with steroids. He also has several other health issues, but right now he is doing really well. He's on kidney medicine and small amount of steroids now.

After all that, I forgot to write my question. Which is, who is this young lady, Dara? And also it is so nice to get to know you this way, thanks for asking questions.

She is adorable! Our Kailey is snaggle toothed and I’m like you....I’m going to miss that when her tooth grows in!

This is a God Wink:

Andy just studied this in his apologetic class! He had a debate on it this morning.
Love, sandie

Cute! There is something special about that toothless smiler as in this case, partially toothless.

I couldn't find an email address for you, so I'll send you this here: Samson's illness:

Uveodermatologic Syndrome (UDS) is an immune-mediated canine disease characterized by inflammation of the eye, de-pigmentation of skin and whitening of hair. Morbidity is related primarily to the eye inflammation, which can result in secondary ophthalmological disorders that lead to blindness. Treatment involves both topical and systemic immunosuppression.

Although generally considered to be more common in Northern breeds, such as Akitas, Siberians, and Samoyeds, there have been reports of the disease in a wide range of breeds, including the Dachshund.

Right now he is on steroids and only one eye drop each morning. Thanks for your interest in him. He's a wonderful dog.

Forgot again, I just had to ask who Dara was as I am getting to know you and your family now. I'm so glad you decided to follow me and so glad to have met you. Madsnapper Sandra has been a friend of mine for a long time now and I know you are her friend too.
