Come Shopping With Me!

Last week, we went to the Shenandoah Farmers Market. It is like a little mall with many privately run shops inside. Here are a few unusual things I saw. No, I didn't buy any of them. This was in front.

Something about this doll is kind of creepy to me.

A quilt with the skyline of New York.

An old fashioned wooden marble roller. It was almost $300.00.

Sand art

Colorful wooden utensils

I wanted this apron, but it was way too expensive. Probably one of a kind.

Lots of interesting things to see. I always tell myself not to buy things I do not really need.

I always assume a farmer's market is selling produce. I learned something. That quilt is so abstract, it looks like a painting.

Lots of neat stuff to see there. That marble roller is very interesting buy not for $300 That is ia really nice apron, not only are the colors really pretty but it's a unique design. Were the selling the pattern for it as well?

I would be very fascinated by these type of stuff too, Ginny! My sister took me to the farmer's market here in Sacramento but they just sell vegetables and greens... :)

What an interesting farmer's market. It looks more like what we call a craft show,

LOVE that quote at the end, Ginny, and so very true. Men and women are just wired differently! I like going through those specialty shops but most of the time I find they're way overpriced too. Goodwill is more my speed. Love, Andrea xoxo

Those items look very unique and interesting! The sand art is beautiful. I've never seen utensils that are so colorful :-)

I agree, that doll is a bit creepy...maybe it's because he's been sitting out there for far too long.
Boredom will do that to you...

That apron is gorgeous...wondering what the price was that you thought was too expensive. Also, wondering if that pattern was included with it. I love the wooden things...

Looks like a great place to browse, something I would enjoy doing very much. That's a beautiful old wagon and I agree with you about the doll.
