A Living Fossil

The Ginkgo trees have changed color now, and are beautiful!


You can spot Ginkgo trees because their leaves look like little fans.

Ginkgos live for thousands of years, and date back to the Jurrasic period. Because of this, they are known as living fossils.

The Ginkgos are the only trees that survived the Hiroshima bombing. They were charred, but are now flourishing.

unbelievable YELLOW trees. the only yellow ones here are yellow flowers. these are stunning...I love the goodbye for now shot at the end, perfect capture in the mirror.

I love gingko trees...you just reminded me I did not get to go see the one and only one I know of around here...it is at least a 40 minute drive.

Oh they are so beautiful! There were lot of Ginkgo trees in my hometown. Love their vibrant colors :-)
