I'm sure some call them "weeds." I'll look for your answer!

To answer your question about the lines in my post: those words are from an old hymn "God Leads Us Along" - one of my favorites. Most of the time, but not always recently, the last lines of my posts are from a song.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!Glendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07059837275907441219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1374840862168255424.post-46927311607038461602010-05-14T02:49:31.478-07:002010-05-14T02:49:31.478-07:00Well I can see that it is neither coltsfoot nor da...Well I can see that it is neither coltsfoot nor dandelion (which I have recently had posts on myself, as you know).

My Swedish Flora is full of yellow flowers not unlike them. Many of them have more than one flower on the same stem though, or the leaves are different. From my book, I'd say yours most resembles the Hieracium pilosella. Looking that up in Wikipedia I find the English name to be Mouse-ear Hawkweed, so that will be my guess. But of course you may also have other similar plants there that do not grow here.DawnTreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13956409908791716009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1374840862168255424.post-58631731244086253602010-05-14T01:58:30.587-07:002010-05-14T01:58:30.587-07:00O.K.
