The Fireworks

The family came over last night and we set off fireworks. I did not serve much, just a bit of nibbles.

None of the girls are any of these cupcakes till I told them they were Barbie cupcakes.

Let the fireworks begin! The grass was so dry that we set the yard on fire several times! I think this one and a few others look like the Cosmos.

Cracking Up

Driving down the street, I spotted something unusual and had to back up. This is a very recent photo, so it is not anywhere near Halloween!

I think this couple sat out on the porch so long laughing and enjoying each other that they forgot to eat!

I imagine them to be an older couple who are just having a blast and laughing at something. Oh, and they have a little pet as well. I think I had better not go up to the porch for a visit as he has very sharp teeth.

4th Of July 2024

Happy Fourth to all of my wonderful blog friends. I hope you have a day filled with fun, food, and love.

“Every July day holds a sparkle of magic.”

“July is hollyhocks and hammocks, fireworks and vacations, hot and steamy weather, cool and refreshing swims, beach picnics, and vegetables all out of the garden.”

Almost The 4th!

This is our oldest granddaughter, Annie, many, many years ago trying her first sparkler in our front yard. She is in college now.

A neighborhood house with lovely 4th decorations.

A matching flag and mailbox.

Cat And Cow

Both The Big Cat and The Big Cow are dressed and ready for the 4th Of July!

The United States is the only country with a known birthday. All the rest began, they know not when, and grew into power, they know not how.... There is no "Republican," no "Democrat," on the Fourth of July, — all are Americans.

He has put a pink flamingo and a palm tree by his plant.
