My Wishes

My wishes for my blog friends in the New Year are that you have lots of  love

Experience joy

Can still feel a sense of awe and wonder

Are able to live in the moment, without much worry about the past or future.

And are assured that God is in control at all times.

And remember, you can't turn back the clock, but you can wind it up again!
Happy 2020!!

Christmas 2019 Part 2

Here is our son Mike.

Us and the granddaughters.

Mike and family.

This is on our living room table now. One of my gifts was this box filled with all kinds of lovely things. Among them was this photo.

Happy New Year!

Christmas 2019 - Part 1

We were as ready as we could be for Christmas day!

Our youngest, Jazz, brought her camera and took pictures. She takes after her grandma!

The little ones were the most excited to open their gifts.

Playing with their new remote controlled cars.

And maybe their favorite, Mermaid Tails!!!

To be continued...

Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.

A Birthday

Our Son Mike's birthday is just before Christmas. He turned 49 this year! Here I am with him. What did we get him? He wanted a gift card to Amazon, and we all ate out..

And here I am with our three granddaughters.

Then I asked them to take a picture of Phil & I for our 50th anniversary.

Brothers

Yesterday we got together with Phil's brother Dave and his wife. They were passing through and we had lunch with them. A good visit! Here we all are.

Here are Phil's brother and his wife Kathleen.

Our brothers and sisters are there with us from the dawn of our personal stories to the inevitable dusk.

Our 50th Celebration

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I think I will start posting with our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. For brunch, we went to a local breakfast & lunch place called "Stella, Bella, And Lucy's."

This was just inside the front door.

They had lovely decor, and a different holiday tablecloth on each table.

This place gets their name from the owner's dogs. So on the wall, a drawing of Stella, Bella, and Lucy is hanging.

Later in the evening, we went to The Outback for dinner. In fact, I did not cook all weekend!

Away In A Manger

Here are some nativity scenes from other countries. Can you guess which country each one goes to? I found them all at Ten Thousand Villages. I have lots of posts coming up with our anniversary, our son's birthday, and Christmas! Wishing you each a wonderful Christmas!!

Wild Violets

The wild Violets are growing in yards everywhere now! They are so sweet. We have quite a few in our yard, and I hate for them to be mowed d...
