The Answer

Here is the answer to what yesterday's mystery object was.

It is a guinea pig/chinchilla feeder! I never would have figured it out! Quite a few of you suggested a soap holder for the shower. I love this suggestion, and now wish I would have kept it and tried it as a soap holder! You guys are brilliant. Speaking of guinea pigs, I took these shots when we were in the pet store. I think he is so adorable!!

So I guess on my blog, March has not come in like a lion, but like a guinea pig.

Mystery Object

First, I will not be blogging here on this Monday. Phil & I both have doctor appointments out of town. In the meantime, can you guess what this object is? Amazon sent it to me, and I did not order it! I never could figure it out, and finally found a label on the packaging. Otherwise, I never would have known what it is! I'll let you know on my next post!

“Do you think you can explain the mystery of God? Do you think you can diagram God Almighty? God is far higher than you can imagine, far deeper than you can comprehend, Stretching farther than earth’s horizons, far wider than the endless ocean.”

Butcher Art

Sometimes the butcher at our grocery store gets creative.

I bought some pork chops and told the butcher to make them lean. He said, 'Which way?'

Social Distance

We really needed to keep our social distance from this car...

I need to do some social distancing from the refrigerator.

The Moon & The Star

These ornaments were in a museum gift shop, made by a local artist. I love them, and don't know how on earth they were made. There are birds hidden in this one.

There were others in different colors in this Christmas tree.

The Ugly Wall

At the local art park, there is a big ugly concrete wall. So they painted this mural on it, and voila! Not ugly anymore. Instead; joyful and weird. Here is the joyful.

And here is the weird. So I guess there's something for everyone.

The Age Of Innocence

These paintings are hanging in the main hallway of a Botanical Garden in Richmond, Va.  They were all painted by school children who had visited there. Looks like nature really inspired them! They were under glass, so there are reflections I could not get rid of.

“And so, every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures.”

Glitter In The Air

I posted this photo many years ago.  It is a close-up I snapped of the inside of a Chicory plant. Look closely inside, and it is sprinkled with glitter! It was all sparkly, but the camera did not pick up the glitteriness as well. It is no mere wildflower to me! If wildflowers were hard to grow, they would be beloved.

Easy To Swallow

This pretty Tree swallow sat on a wire fence and turned every which way to pose for me. The others had all flown off, but not this one. I love his fluorescent shimmering head!

I'm No Dummy

We saw this parked on a street. The two sides are very different. It took me awhile to figure out that it is showing what can happen without a seatbelt. Maybe put there by the police?

It remined me of our visit to the car Crash Test Center. This is where they have all the Crash Test dummies, and do the crash test ratings. We got to meet the dummies! They had them in all sizes.

We even got to watch an actual crash test!! It was a fun day.

A Grand Valentine Photo

Here is this year's Valentine photo of our granddaughters and their dog Vivian. Anne Marie is 15 now, and learning to drive.

Grandmas are moms with lots of frosting.

I Heart You All!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of my wonderful followers! And what better time to show you some of the hearts I have found and snapped...

I saw this little Tin Man hanging on a front porch.

Accidental, or done on purpose?

A sunny spot on our kitchen floor.

I don't understand why Cupid was chosen to represent Valentine's Day. When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon.
