I have not been able to download any photos to blogger tonight! So I will just say Happy new Year to all my wonderful followers!

Snowman Overload

I did a double take when we passed this house a couple days ago. This person must collect snowmen, and  put their entire collection on the front porch.

There was one sitting on a little well.

A snowman tree.

Even snowmen on the window shutters.

Pig Parade

Today we passed this yard full of pig Christmas decorations!! All different kinds of pigs!

Pigs in Santa hats.

Pigs with wings.

Pigs with antlers.

It made me kinda glad that I don't eat bacon. Thoughts?

My Favorite

This may be my favorite Christmas gift this year. It is a calendar our daughter-in-law had made. Each month has either a photo of our grandchildren, or a photo of their artwork! Here are some of the pages.

The Gifts

Yesterday our son and oldest granddaughter came over to exchange gifts. The others did not want to catch whatever I had.

Here are a few of the gifts. This Starbucks mug.

A sherpa lined throw.

A handmade reversable sign.

New photos of them all in a collage frame.

Next post I will show you my very favorite. This next one is one I bought for myself and just hung up today.

“May all the gifts and benefits that come from God our Father, and the Master, Jesus Christ, be yours.

Christmas Oddities

Today was the oddest Christmas we have ever had. I got really sick on Christmas eve. Feeling a bit better today. Also today our toilet broke. On Christmas. When I was sick. A plumber had to come out twice to fix it. Due to all this, we did not get together with family, but did manage to exchange gifts, which I will show on my next post. But now, here are some of the oddest Christmas things we have seen.

A Christmas tree made of bicycles.

A cow admiring a Christmas tree.

An American flag Christmas decoration.

An R2D2 Christmas decoration.

A fire breathing dragon and a dolphin.

Merry Christmas 2021

Wishing each of my wonderful followers a healthy, wonderful and meaningful Christmas.

For a child has been born—for us!
the gift of a son—for us!
He’ll take over
    the running of the world.
His names will be: Amazing Counselor,
    Strong God,
Eternal Father,
    Prince of Wholeness.
His ruling authority will grow,
and there’ll be no limits to the wholeness he brings.

Isaiah 9

Trees Full Of Stars

What a house we came across tonight! We could see it from a block away!

I couldn't wait to get closer.

Now to the details. They had trees full of stars.

“You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept… I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine!

Matthew 5

The Big Cat, Etc.

The Big Cat is all dressed and ready for Christmas.

On the way back home, we noticed that the people across the street had just put out their decorations. Notice the lillipops on the porch. I think it is all so cute!

I also spotted this Wind Spinner. Though not a Christnas decoration, I love the colors.

Babana Bark

I got this awesome Christmas card from a blogger. The Wise Men's hats are made from banana bark.

Bark from banana trees is gathered by poor families in Haiti and used to make these cards. This makes a source of income for them. What a great idea!

Birthday Boy

Tomorrow is our son Mike's 51st birthday. I can hardly believe it! We went over and dropped off some presents today. We stayed outside, as our youngest granddaughter is sick, and whatever it is it could be contagious.

Our middle granddaughter, Dara, came out to see us. She has grown so much in the last year.

I thought the front of their house was pretty, so too a quick snap as we drove away.

Garage Greetings

Want to know why this is so different? It's a garage door! This is the latest Christmas decorating thing around here.
