Flying Away To A Specil Birth

While driving around one night, we came across this house. There was something unusual about their Christmas decorations, and I wanted a better look. So I returned in the daylight.

It was worth coming back! What I had seen was a couple of penguins in a hot air balloon getting ready to fly away!!

And I think I know where thy were going in such a hurry! You see, penguins can't fly, so they got this balloon to go to a very special birth on December 25th. The birth of the Savior of the world in a tiny igloo in their homeland.

Well, here is the birthday boy himself cutting the cake. The girls like chocolate and the boys like vanilla, so I split it right down the middle! YES, it was very good and the chocolate was full of great intensity. And what was Anne Marie doing during all the slicing? Why, she was carrying Sunny around like a baby. He loves her and she loves him, and he lets her carry him anywhere, acting like a baby while purring. Most of you guessed so close to the price and some were even correct! You guys are GOOD!

The Cake Boss

Our son and his family are coming over tomorrow evening. It will be his 43rd birthday, and we will be giving him his gift and eating out. I just now got home from the grocery store, and look what I found!! Have you watched The Food Network show "The Cake boss"? Well, the Boss is making his cakes and shipping them frozen to grocery stores, and I bought this one!! So tomorrow after we return from dinner, this cake will be brought out to everyone's surprise! What is IN the cake? Well, you will just have to wait until we cut and eat it, which I will show in my next post!! Feel free to guess the price of this cake.
