Seeing Stars

Hi everyone! Gosh, it has been SO long. I am doing well, seeing stars and everything else. I had successful eye surgeries, so I can see these stars now, plus a lot of other things that I had not been seeing. And my broken foot is healed. I am so glad to be back. But for me now, there has to be some changes. I have taken months to figure them out. First and foremost, I love each and every one of you. We have taken an interest in each others lives, gotten to know each other, and I have been the better for it. But I can no longer spend the whole day on the couch visiting and commenting. I need to get up and move around for my health. So here is what I have decided. I just cannot close my blog down and leave you all!! So, I will continue to post once in awhile. But I will not be able to visit ALL of my followers anymore. I will be dropping in on a few of my old blogging friends and commenting at times, so a few of you will be getting comments. I will likely be visiting many others, but will just be unable to comment. I still appreciate visitors and comments, but I understand if you no longer want to visit me because I am unable to reciprocate. I love you ALL!

And you will make a new start, listening obediently to God, keeping all his commandments that I’m commanding you today. God, your God, will outdo himself in making things go well for you… Yes, God will start enjoying you again, making things go well for you just as he enjoyed doing it for your ancestors.

It's good to see you back in blogland. You do what you need to do.I think the blogs need a 'LIKE' button, like there is on Facebook. It would be a way of letting the other person that you have at least read the post.

So glad to see you back, Ginny, and we are still planning to see you (literally) sometime after Easter. More about that later. We leave for Indianapolis next Monday (March 31st?) and will be there three weeks. Then it is on to WV, VA, PA, Maryland and then starting our return to California after that. Drop in here whenever you can. Be in spirit. It's alright. Your health is paramount. You have a sweet little g'girl to be in good health for.

Oh, I am so excited about this good news. Bravo for your paying attention to what your body and spirit need!

I will continue praying for you. Your posts have been inspirational, fun and invariably spark an urge for me to chime in. I don't think that urge will change.

Have a fun weekend away from the couch and computer!

Ironically, just less than an hour ago I was thinking of you and how you were healing after surgery!!!

We all, friends, make a habit of listening and knowing just how a blogger cannot always be around. Life is way too short! Enjoy you occasional hiatus and know that you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Happy, very happy, to see you're doing well!!

So good to see you back & am glad your eyes are better! Yippeee!!

No, no one should be spending an entire day on the couch with their computer!! But I don't think you have to give up blogging, reading blogs, and commenting in order to avoid spending all day on the couch! You know what I mean? I'm guessing that you're also on Facebook and THAT doggone thing is what takes up so much time! I left it a long time ago & am all the better for it.

But that's just me... I much prefer writing, reading, and commenting blog entries than wasting time on Facebook or Twitter. So we each have to "pick our poison", I suppose.

Take good care & enjoy spring... we've certainly earned it, haven't we. :)

Blessings~ Andrea
XOXOXO

Bless your heart... I am one who will say that I don't blame you at all... Many of my old blog friends have either given up --or only blog on occasion...

I will say that the ones who blog on occasion are doing well---and people still visit them. SO--they can still keep up with friends through blogging --but just not regularly...

I don't blog nearly as much as I used to... I am like you. I cannot sit and answer comments all day long... I try to get to my friends about once or twice a week now --and not every single day. It's working much better for me.

Blogging is great for people who don't have much of a life in addition to computer work/blogging... I can understand why they do it constantly. BUT --for those of us who have a 'life' --it's much harder....

Keep in touch by email. I will always write you ---and do keep up with emails and on Facebook...

Glad you are doing so well... Staying active is SO important and it's hard to stay active when sitting at the computer.

Hugs and Prayers,
Betsy

Oh Ginny girl it is good to see you with those unusual and beautiful photos. You have always gotten the best things.

Now Ginny - this is EXACTLY what I did. I blog once a week. And I do my best.

You know in the Bible in Ecclesiastes - there is a time for this and a time for that?

I loved blogging every day and spending a lot of time doing it - but now I don't.

So there is a time to blog and a time to refrain from blogging!

We just have to get it right.

Hi Ginny!! I'm so happy to see your post as I've been thinking about you and wondering how you were. So happy to hear you're doing well and I totally understand about wanting more time away from the computer. I dearly love blogging, but it takes up so much of my time that I've had to cut back on commenting lately. There is so many things I love to do and I don't want blogging to take me away from those other things. So, I'm trying to find a way to do it all. (If that is possible!) Take care and have a nice weekend!

you picked the perfect photos for your come back post of letting your light shine.. sounds like a good plan to me.
i for one believe blogging is on the way out...when we all started FB and Twitter and instagram and all that was not out there... with all the social networking with smart phones and tablets, blogging is the old fashioned way.....
when you post i will be here

You made my day when I saw your comment on Pink Saturday.I have wondered about you more than I can tell you. So thankful you are doing so much better. It comes a time in all our lives to make a decision we may not like. You are wise in doing so. Your health comes first. Your blogging friends will there for you whatever you feel like doing. Take care my friend and may the good Lord continue to shower you with many blessings. I have missed you.

Good to see you back, Ginny! Take your time. We all have to make adjustments now and then. I often visit more blogs than I comment on too, as I sometimes read them on my phone. You'll remain on my visiting list, I'll pop in now and then to check if there are any news!

Amen, Ginny!!! I feel the same way. It is almost impossible to live your life and visit and comment on all blogs. I sometimes feel guilty... but I love your idea.... One day at at time, girlfriend! I am very sporadic at visiting and commenting on blogs anymore because it has become really hard to do. if you have time, stop by my blog... if not it is A-OK! I love you and have been praying for you and I am so very glad you are back!!! Its always nice to cross paths on FB!!

Hi Ginny, As you can see I've had to do the same thing! I still love to come and visit and check up on folks - but I can't devote any more time to blogging! I love checking in on facebook - that's always short and sweet and I can do it on my phone while I'm standing in line somewhere, etc. We do what we have to and as the Lord brings each other to mind - which He does - we'll be in prayer! - So glad to hear you're seeing stars and have healed! Blessings on you! I still have everyone on my link and check up on folks periodically! I agree with Ruth - I wish there was a LIKE button or a sticker we could send! In the past I always used to even read all the comments!! You take care and God bless!
