We happened to be there when the newspaper and T.V. came to interview the Pumpkin Man. He was on the front page of our newspaper!
Notice the long green things on the ground? He grows them too, and they get huge! They are Long Gourds. He hung them on this frame to show them off, and you can see one growing out back. They look like big green snakes!

Lovely pictures of Anne Marie on the pumpkin. That pumpkin is huge, I don't think I have actually ever seen one that big except in photos. Amazing...I bet your granddaughter will want to grow a pumpkin next year of her own...I am not sure i like the long green gourds...to creepy for someone who does not like snakes.
