The Upside Down Peacocks
I came across these upside down Christmas trees! A couple of them are peacock trees. I love the peacock theme, but not so much the upside down aspect. Did you know that in medieval times, peacock and boar were eaten on Christmas day? It wasn't till Henry the 8th ate poultry one Christmas that things changed.

Oh, peacocks and boar, not turkeys during those days? Anyway, those are not easily accessible over here, turkeys are expensive here. Upside down christmas trees too? hahaha.. I wonder whose idea is that..

I did not know that anyone ever ate peacocks and I've often wondered what they were for. I love the feathers and I love the colors but I do not love the trees upside down. Somehow to me an upside down Christmas tree is like turning a cross upside down
I love the 3rd one very much - the white feathers look like a wedding veil! I saw upside down Christmas trees somewhere before - can't remember when/where but it must be more popular than we think :-)
I think I remember these (or similar) from some post in the past...? I like the peacock theme but I agree the upside-down is just weird.
