We pass by this quite a bit. It is in a person's side yard. Looks like the beginning of a treehouse.
But at the top of the ladder-like steps, there is nothing!
It does look like some kind of little house on the ground under the tree, though.
Or maybe the entire scene is just to hang ornaments, of which they have many different kinds.
“Nailed in hope and
framed in youth, It stands unfinished, yet speaks the truth. A ladder to dreams
not yet climbed, A shelter for someday, undefined.”

Very cool, Ginny. Thanks 😊 for sharing this. Love ❤️ the colours.
A fun little poem to go with your post. It is very interesting to see all the decorations.
Interesting. They sure do have a lot of decorations out there.
maybe the MOM in the house is afraid of heights and had the kids build a single story and then she said build a ladder but remember you can't go any higher than the last board... OR she said, stop the boards but it will get you high enough to to climb that tree. OR..................
It's fun! MadSnapper may be right.
Your quote today is just perfect!
I'm guessing they're trying to keep the two huge trunks together, in hopes that one doesn't break & fall. Both trunks look rotted and those pieces of wood aren't going to stop a thing if one of them decides to come crashing down. *gasp* They'd better call a tree man quick! Love, Andrea xoxo
Well..this is a different kind of tree house for sure. Perhaps it is only to hang things on but it does make you stop and look at it. For sure an attraction for the eye.
Your poem gave your photos just the emphasis they needed. Blessings, Ginny!
I was thinking the same thing - maybe for safety the playhouse is on the ground! Cute though.
Love the poem and maybe its a Fairy House.

I love the poem! And maybe the ladder is just for the fun of it.
Probably safer to keep the tree house on the ground, and not letting the kids climb to high...? ;-)
Pretty cool. Your neighbor is one of a kind. :)
Love that thick tree. Such a wide trunk
That is interesting. It does look like just someplace to hang things!
Yes, it looks like a spot to hang different outside accessories. The quote goes perfectly for this little tree corner your neighbors have made.
