Your Own Writing!!

Hi guys! Thank you so much for telling me what YOU would write on the Free Speech Wall! I have read all your quotes, then taken each one and paired it with a bible verse that I think compliments it.  Find your own quote and the bible verse I chose just for YOU, and you can also see what others wrote. Your quote will be first, followed by the bible verse.  And you guys wrote amazing quotes!

Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Monica - Hold onto your hopes, my friend.

Walk out into the daylight sober, dressed up in faith, love, and the hope of salvation.

Luke 18:1
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning

Donna - No to the UN
1 Peter 3
Snub evil and cultivate good; run after peace for all you’re worth. God looks on all this with approval

Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life

Free Speech Wall

A writer is someone who can make a riddle out of an answer.  ~Karl Kraus

Come with me for a visit to the Free Speech Wall! It is a sunny winter day, but bitter cold and windy. The Charlottesville Downtown Mall erected this slate wall  recently. There are ledges for chalk, and anyone can write anything on this wall that they want. ANYTHING! I think it gives one a good idea of the people of this city. So Phil and I had to get our pictures taken while writing on the wall.  What would YOU write??? As we walk back to the car, our shadows say good-bye until the next adventure. Have you thought what you would write yet? If I get enough answers, I will likely do a post about them.

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
1 John 3

The Stand

The first pumpkin stand of the season is open! This one is my favorite because of the wall of pumpkins. It's in a really pretty locatio...
