Giant Butterfly

I was out walking with my girlfriend, and this giant butterfly attacked us!

It then flew off and started to chase others!

O.K., the truth is that we went to see a display of giant butterflies made from Lego blocks. This butterfly is made with over 37,000 pieces! We look miserable because it was so hot that we could not walk through and see everything. Here is a close-up shot where you can see the individual Legos! On my next post, I will show you what else we saw.

“This was back in the days (and also later) when there were giants in the land.

Totally awesome butterfly. You do both look really hot. It has been so hot here in the mid-afternoon in the nineties when we go in the backyard will last no more than five minutes. At first I thought that butterfly was a kite I thought the little girl in the picture was holding a kite. Wish we were where we could go look at butterflies together sister mine

It amazes me what they can do with the Legos. I have tried putting some together, but gave up. The butterfly is awesome sight.

Hi Ginny, that was a lovely photo of you and your girlfriend, but I can relate on feeling uncomfortable in this heat. Enjoyed seeing those butterflies. I can't imagine putting them together and how long that must have taken but what a lovely sculpture it makes. Thanks for sharing them and have a great weekend :)

This art is amazing.

I'm as slow as the seven year itch! I just connected your G+ note to your blog. I'm so sorry. I was trying to reply when you were kind enough to comment. I guess the thought matters even when the brain is not connecting the dots!
