Update

Hello all my dear friends! I know I have kept you hanging for quite awhile, longer than I had expected to. So now here is my story. The night we had such terrible storms (more about that later, hopefully) I got very sick and had to go to the E.R., where they admitted me. It was another case of diverticulitis, and it has been a long road to recovery, with lots of medicines and being sick from them also. I have several colon problems and they have scheduled biopsies on the 22nd. The doctor has warned me that it could be caner, or anything. It could be multiple things or only one. Only a biopsy will tell. I am still not up to commenting or reading blogs, but hope to be soon! I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers, cards, and e-mails. You make me feel so cared for and loved, and I miss each one of you and wonder what is going on in your lives. Please feel free to e-mail me at any time. Hoping to be back blogging soon!!!!

“So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever.”
2 Corinthians 4.

Ginny, so good to find an update from you. I'm so sorry that you've been so sick. I hope and pray the biopsy will bring good news rather than bad, some treatment or operation that will help.

Praying for you, my dear. Diverticulitus is very hard to handle and the meds are just as bad. I have had you in my prayers for some time now. I missed you on Sandra's blog and asked her about you. God be with you today and always....

Ginny....the last few weeks, you've been on my mind and in my thoughts. I thought I'd pop over here this morning to see if you had any updates about your life the last couple of months...or three. I just hope you're doing well, at least much better than before you were admitted to the hospital after the ER trip.

I pray that your biopsy will be a negative report on anything cancerous. Just being told about this possibility by your physician can create a lot of fear and anxieties.

I hope you're getting a great deal of support from your family [which is MOST important right now]...and know you have the support of all your friends online.

Take care, hope to see you soon blogging again, but singly....get better first!!!

Ginny, while I have been on FB, my blog is still in hiatus and I have not checked into many blogs often in August. Having said that, I must say that without the commenting/making posts etc etc, I have more time for praying for my friends, like you. You have always been on my heart and in my prayers. Blogland is a bit dimmer without you and your lovely blog and we all hope to see you well and blogging again soon in the future. Am grateful for this update. I do hope your tests came out ok. Your blog has touched many, as has your love for Him. Am sure the enemy is trying hard to discourage you big time with physical illness. Please know that all of us are behind you in prayers, nothing stronger than that for such a special lady who is so missed in blogland. Hoping to see that you are on the mend very soon. From my heart to yours....

I survived colon cancer even though I was in stage three. I had a huge tumour and a large section of the colon removed in July 2008. Still doing fine. I refused chemo and drank ESSIAC tea instead each day. These days I take capsules. Cheno would have done me in!
Now here's to a great outcome for you. Don't let cancer scare you. That's when it gains more control.
