It's All In The Cards

“Old card players never die, they just shuffle away.” ~Author Unknown

“Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well.”
Josh Billings

Lookie what I found.  A dress made of cards! And it must be a ball gown, because there is even a tiara. Perhaps it was made for The Queen Of Hearts. This outfit is called "The Gambler" and was created by Karen Blackburn. Phil thought he would get a little hug, just to see if it was real. So you might say he is holding all the cards!

“There’s no way that God will reject a good person, and there is no way he’ll help a bad one. God will let you laugh again; you’ll raise the roof with shouts of joy, with your enemies thoroughly discredited, their house of cards collapsed.”
Job 8

I need one of those dresses if it brings good luck. I have never been lucky. Most interesting.

The dress is cool - I would never have guessed that the house of cards would be in the Bible - interesting.

I have enjoyed your quotes on Job so much that I got the good book out and reread Job.

A card dress - what next? I have never seen such an item and I thought when I saw the veil with the tiara that it might have been a wedding dress. I wonder how it was ever worn.

How neat!! In this dress, one can be a joker...a queen...a king...or quite a number!!!! Love the imagination that some people have.

Blessings.

What an awesome dress. I wonder how many packs of cards it took to make it. I love that photo of Phil holding all the cards.
