Going, Going, Gone

We had just gotten Anne Marie an ice-cream cone and it was leaning over badly, so she tried to lay it in a dish.

PLUNK, the ice-cream fell out of the cone. The look on her face was one of the best things of the evening.

“Enoch walked steadily with God. And then one day he was simply gone: God took him.”

Precious!!!
I have a funny story! Last Friday I was out on the front yard over in Quadville. The other grandmother was up on the porch and I had my little chair and was sitting there with my apron and houseshoes on pulling weeds. For some reason I took off the apron and slipped out of my shoes and then walked across the grass to pull some weeds up by the sidewalk. Trystan looked at the place I had been and saw my empty chair, slippers and apron and yelled, "What HAPPENED to MeeMaw???? WHERE did MeeMaw GO???"

Terrific header Ginny.
Love your shot of Anne Marie. At least it looks like it all made it into the cup.
Thanks for your compliment on our front door. I do like it but sometimes it makes me feel exposed. It came with the house, though I think I would have liked a solid one.
