We happened to drive by these at the beginning of a blizzard, a lovely surprise. We just barely made it home. And yes, the blowing snow is real. But it did not blow their caps off!
This one is a Christmas Tree made from poinsettias. The total effect being Santa's hat of course. We happened on this one at a Christmas tree contest in a big hotel.
And here is our Anne Marie. Her panda hat is firmly on her head as she is about to go out in the cold.
“This is basically the origin of these customs we
have of women wearing head coverings in worship, while men take their hats off. By these symbolic acts, men and women, who far too often
butt heads with each other, submit their “heads” to the Head: God.”

Love this, Ginny! That blizzard photo is fantastic.
I love all three photographs
Anne Marie looks so cute in her Panda hat. Great photos Ginny, the first photo with the santa-capped trees is really neat.
You keep coming across the oddest things :) Those trees really seem like they're walking about in a parade!
Thanks for the smiles this morning.
Very sweet pictures. You always find the coolest stuff!!
Those trees are great. Are they on private property?
Loved seeing part of Anne Marie!!
Best,
Bonnie
At first glance at the first picture, I thought they were humans cloaked in green with their caps on. Good bible verse.
Brrrr blizzard. But the photo is beautiful! Love those trees in Santa hats. How pretty! They look like people in green coat walking in line :-) The Santa hat Christmas tree is very creative!
Anne Marie is so cute in the panda hat :-) Looks like she is very warmly dressed and ready to go out!
What a cute little panda! The snow looks beautiful! Not something we get see unless we travel. Stay warm!
i remember the tree Santas from the past, the snow makes them look perfect and that poinsettia tree is amazing and i am trying to figure how they made the top lean with out falling over.. Ann Marie is a doll as always
Very cute to give each tree a hat!
Love the hats! Your little Panda is adorable!!
I love the top pic of all the trees with hats. That is hilarious.
Your little panda bear is adorable! ;)
Merry Christmas! xo
You've definitely gotten more snow than we got. I like the hats on the pine trees, but I think Anne Marie's Panda hat is adorable.
Hello There, I enjoyed your post today. Love the 'blizzard' picture--and glad the hats didn't blow off... Yipes!!!! Anne's little hat is adorable... AND--I liked the poinsettia tree too. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry I haven’t been around much lately. I do try to read blogs—but just haven’t commented very much lately like I usually try to do. Please don’t give up on me. Hopefully my life will be back to ‘normal’— whatever that is (ha), sometime in January.
I did get a cortisone shot in my knee —which has helped with the pain somewhat. In January, I will most likely have meniscus tear surgery…. BUT—in the meantime, I plan to have a fantastic Christmas —and hopefully get to see my kids/grands… God is Good.
Hugs,
Betsy
That little Anne Marie steals the show. That is the sweetest little smile ever!
hm, walking Christmas trees in the snow.
Greetings,
Filip
That first picture looks really really cold.
Anne Marie's hat is so cute
