Look Through Any Window - A-Snooping I will Go

Remember the old Hollies song "Look through Any Window"?A few days before Christmas, we drove around being peeping toms gazing through the windows of the neighborhood houses. They were all beautiful!! Here is what we saw.

“Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. If you pull the blinds on your windows, what a dark life you will have!

I SO love this post!!!!
This is what I used to do - and would still do if I could!!
We would drive around at night and I loved looking in at the lights in the windows!
When I was a little girl, that's what we would do. WE were poor and not window worthy. However, I never forgot the thrill of looking at the lights in the windows of the HOMES we drove by. Not HOUSES in my mind - but HOMES! I so wanted to have one.
I do now and I never take that for granted!
LOVED seeing what YOU saw!!!

Hi Ginny. There is ACLU de sac in the town where I live that all the houses are very decorated and people come from miles to see them. A lot of the stuff is moving. People may give a donation and it goes to a different charity every year. Your 'peeping' lights are gorgeous.

Very lovely window views. I would do the same too. Over here, I love driving by houses and viewing their lovely gardens. Have a good week.

Love all the Christmas windows! They are so beautiful. The Santa looking out through the window is very impressive!
We took down our Christmas lights this weekend. And soon other decorations. Let them nap until next Christmas...:-)

what fun.. i wonder how they did the santa and the star that fills the window.. maybe something pasted on the window.. they are all beautiful. when i lived at home with my parents, the tree through the window was the only thing to see. we would drive around looking at trees like you did, but that was ll and i liked it like that... everyone had a different stype type tree...

I enjoy the lights at Christmas, but just did not have the spirit this year. Best wishes to you and family for a very blessed New Year.

Lovely sights, each one so unique. Just like us, God created us all so different. I love that He didn't use a cookie cutter.
