A Fishy Shopping Tale

I had just donated something to Goodwill, and I spotted this in the donation center

A little round white bookcase shaped like a fishbowl, with fish on the sides. I was delighted! I asked if they would put a price sticker on it and bring it out on the floor. They did, and we bought it! Of course, it goes in the girl's playroom. It is all wood and very heavy. Not bad for six dollars.

The cats love it, and think it's their new toy. They like to chase each other around and through it.They will probably like it more than the girls will!

“God keeps track of the decent folk; what they do won’t soon be forgotten. In hard times, they’ll hold their heads high; when the shelves are bare, they’ll be full.”

 Psalm 37

That painting of the fish is darling, and it looks like you may have a new cat hotel. All it needs is a cushion on top. It will look cute with books shelved in it.

Sounds like kitties like it a lot. Maybe after all it will become their furniture :-)

Neat find......It's really very cute! I don't think I've ever seen one before, but someone sure used their imagination in building this and painting the cute fish on the side.

Hi Ginny, I am back to thank you for stopping by and to answer your question about the dogs in my post. We were going through my in-law's neighborhood and the black dog was being taken for a walk. The little dog ran across the road from his house - fortunately a very narrow road and hardly any traffic but low speed limits - to inspect the invader. He barked a bit then went back home. So cute!

Looks especially funny with the cat on top... I bet they wish it were a real fish tank though... :)

I don't know how you do it, but you capture images of the most striking things. Obviously that talent extends to unusual and great finds to buy, too.

What a wonderful idea.

I think bugs know what they like just like Panda bears love Bamboo shoots. It is exciting watching the garden grow. Amazing the memory in a seed!

The garlic grows underground but had a lovely blossom I often use in bouquets.

Have a blessed weekend.
