Row On Row

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row...
John McCrae

No poppies here. Just rows and rows of white markers. This is the Veteran's Cemetery in Staunton, Va.

“Sorrow makes us all children again — destroys all differences of intellect. The wisest know nothing.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

“…we know that when these bodies of ours are taken down like tents and folded away, they will be replaced by resurrection bodies in heaven.”
2 Cor. 5

So many gone for us. A great sacrifice and a great thank you to them.

We have a national cemetery just a few miles from me. It is so sad seeing miles of another but white crosser. Trust you both have a good week.

Beautiful and heart-warming (but sad) post... Happy Memorial Day. Let's never forget those men and women who served and gave so much for our FREEDOM.

Hugs,
Betsy
