Moody

If you were around in the sixties and seventies, you may remember Mood Rings. These were rings that would turn different colors depending on what mood you were in. Recently we were in a gift shop that had these mood rings with bats on them! Only a dollar! So I got one for me and one for a friend. We each wore them for a day, and they turned the exact same colors! So perhaps that means it depends more on the temperature than your mood. Still fun!

Oh, and they also came with this little color chart!

“After that, whenever the bad depression from God tormented Saul, David got out his harp and played. That would calm Saul down, and he would feel better as the moodiness lifted.”

1 Samuel

OH MY, so you were both walking around feeling ROMANTIC all day??? if my cataracts are reading the chart right you were... a dollar is really cheap for that. and yes i do remember the mood rings. i think this one is prettier than the ones we had...try running or walking fast and see if it turns green..

This ring is something new to me but I think it is fun to try it on and check out the colours.

I do remember Mood Rings --even though I never had one...

Love your scripture today... MUSIC can certainly cheer me when I am 'down'...

Have a great day.. Hope the hot weather has gone from there. Still pretty hot here --and still NO RAIN.

Hugs,
Betsy

I've never heard of mood ring. What a fun!
Amazing it's only a dollar and it checks your mood (or temperature.) I'd like to try it on!

I remember those...I had one. Maybe I still have it...dunno for sure. But I do remember that when I'd wear mine it would always turn a light shade of turquoise or GREEN. Mostly green.

I was born in the 70s but I remember when mood rings made a comeback in the 80s. I had a great big blue one!

Oh how fun! I remember these. Also popular about the same time were the Eight Balls that you asked a question, turn it over, and it gave you an answer! Fun memories.

Yup, I'm dating myself...Mood rings were all the rage around the time I was getting married.
I should of had one with the bats on it...since that's my married name. (different spelling)
