Bless The Beasts...

There is a large dog walking park in town, and the dog owners are all friends. Each Christmas, they put up a tree in the park. It is decorated with pictures and stories of their departed beloved dogs. Let's take a look at the latest one...

Bless the beasts and the children
For in this world they have no voice
They have no choice

Light their way
When the darkness surrounds them
Give them love
Let it shine all around them

I always loved this song sung by Karen Carpenter, and it made me cry almost every time I heard it too. I have such a soft spot for animals and children who have no voice and no choice. This is a lovely way to keep the memories of beloved pets alive. A bit sad, too, for they are missed so much. I still think of our beloved dog, Baron. He was so special and I'll never forget him.

What a nice way to remember the furbabies who have gone to the bridge. Sad but sweet.
