Footprints

We had a light snow last night. And when we opened the door, this is what we saw on the porch.

They are bird footprints, can you see? A small delight that you can only see in the snow.

When we came home later, we saw this on the roof.

Squirrel footprints. They like to scamper around the roof, then sit in the gutter and eat whatever has blown there. My day was MADE with just these two sets of footprints.

So you must not have heard the little bird knocking at your door to ask if he could borrow a cup of seed :)
I always like seeing tracks running through my yard. Usuaully it's rabbit tracks. I've never spotted any on my roof though

You are funny - that it made your day - it would not make mine! We have had so many squirrels get in the house! Real work to get them out Ginny!

We are to receive 8 inches tonight. :-)

I am not sure if the zoo is run on donations? I know we have a free zoo about 45 minutes from us and it receives help from businesses.
