Not Blue. Not Super.

All this fuss about this month's Super Blue Moon. And of course I was hoping to snap it. But we are socked in with clouds, boo hoo. So no Super Blue Moon. Instead, here is a moon that I snapped awhile ago.

The man who has seen the rising moon break out of the clouds at midnight has been present like an archangel at the creation of light and of the world.  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

I haven't looked but I'm sure we have too many clouds here also. I love that first picture with the trees

Last night when I remembered the blue moon, it was past 10 pm. When out to see a bigger, brighter moon but no point taking any photos with my mobile phone! I like the first image very much!

the one with the trees is beautiful and i love having something in a moon pic like that. our blue moon was stunning for the past 4 days and on the 30th driving to the early am pool it was so beautiful with drifting clouds in front and it was putting out blue white light. i could hardly drive for watching it... it really was blue

Oh wow! Beautiful photos. I love the way the tree branches are silhouetted in front of the moon in your first shot. Thank you so much for your comments on my blog and yes, my kitty is a calico. I got her as a kitten last summer and she is just the sweetest thing.

The Super Blue Moon couldn't have been any more beautiful than the pictures you've shared here.

There will be more moons! I missed the eclipse, but I did see the moon, which was fabulous.

Hi,
We had clouds too. These photos are amazing!

Yes, that was a giant tree house we visited this summer. I loved it. :-)

We too were clouded over. I had taken shots the day before and then again today. I like what I was able to take.

The moon is the same and it's beautiful. I din't get to see any of it either, too many clouds.
