How We Felt

At the "Art For Gifts" show, we also saw these. Felted scarves and shawls.

I love the intense color of the scarves and shawls! Have you ever tried to make felted things? From what I gather, it involves wool and a needle with sharp barbs. If I tried this, I would be a human pincushion.

I have saved my favorite felting project for last. I now wish I would have bought one of these little angels.

“How cold it is! Even the lights are cold;
They have put shawls of fog around them, see!”
~Sara Teasdale   "A November Night"

The earth tucked herself in for the year with winter's cold, white scarf of snow.”

Wow, those are really pretty. I've seen all kinds of felted projects but never scarves and shawls. Beautiful. This is one thing I have not tried yet.

Oh clever title :-) I love those felted scarves and shawls. They are beautiful and look so warm! I did some felt work at school and enjoyed it, though it was more simple creation compared to these :-)

Those are very pretty and colorful. The only thing I remember making were pictures from felted pieces, like petals and flowers, trees and houses. It came in a box and was a Christmas gift I was given as a child. I always had a good time putting my felt pictures together.

Sunday Sunset

 I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
