Hosta La Vista

This house is a couple blocks from us, and their entire front yard is Hostas! No grass mowning for them.

“It’s not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, who makes things grow.”

The deer in our area would love to visit that yard.

I love that front yard (and the house is beautiful, too)! Less mowing and more time to do more important things.
Have a blessed weekend!

Well that is one way not to have to mow - my hubs should have thought of that.

I keep moving starts of hostas to everywhere. I guess I should watch out for the hosta disease. It is pretty. Thanks for sharing.

That's really pretty! We love hostas, but I can't imagine a whole yard of them!

Perfect over all blog look!!!

I really like this idea. I have gotten to look on grass, as an *abomination.* ;-)

But! That is not a work free front yard!

Each of those groups of plants, as to be maintained. And those pretty purple flowers on stems, have to be cut down, when they finish blooming.

Yes, they have a lot of work there, or they hire someone to garden for them.

Very interesting though...

That is a good idea. I sometimes wonder if I should plant shrubs and flowers in the front. We are in a drought, and watering a great amount of lawn grass is not allowed right now. This house in your neighborhood looks green and groomed and kept up.

Sunday Sunset

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
