As usual on the first of the month, I am posting my calendar. Welcome to June!

Our city had their yearly art festival earlier this month. it involves artists painting large murals on local buildings. Here is the largest one we saw. We live by two rivers, so fishing is a big deal here.
We actually happened to pass by when the artist was still painting it! The umbrella was to keep the full sun off of him.
There's a fine
line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.
I thought this porch was so cute and cheerful. I could not get entire photos because of the bushes in front. A wrought iron polka dot table & chair set.
A matching bench.
Even a matching polka dot flag with their initial.
And these lovely flowers on their door in the same colors.

from a dot.”
We were in line at the Mcdonald's Drive-Thru. The car in front of us ran over the orange road cone that was put there to block a lane! It got stuck in the front of the car. The lady driver sent the boy passenger out to dislodge it.
No luck, it wouldn't budge. She got out herself to give it a try.
It finally came loose!
She grabbed his hand and dragged him back to the car, looking quite annoyed. Notice that the entire time, he is laughing hysterically. So were we. I could hardly keep the camera steady from laughing.
Last year I posted the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C., my hometown. No, I was not actually there. But I thought I would post this year's festival, from my T.V., of course. It is a huge deal there!
Did you know that Dollar General is selling a large line of Dolly Parton items? And really cheap. Battery-run milk foamers are only $5.00. Here are some other things I saw.
Have you bought any? Here is what I came home with. But only the large tiered tray is a Dolly item.

This man just got his life saved by his pet bearded Dragon Spike. I snapped these photos from the T.V. news.
The man had just gone for a thirteen mile run. He came home, took some Melatonin, and fell into a deep sleep on the couch.
Meanwhile, a fire had started in his bathroom. Two smoke alarms went off, but they did not wake him up.
But his best buddy Spike was determined to wake him!
Spike kept whipping his face with his long tail, until he woke up. The man ran for the fire extinguisher and was able to put the fire out.
Saved by a dragon. Who is also a good friend.
"Owning a
bearded dragon is like having a tiny dinosaur as a companion."
