Our city had their yearly art festival earlier this month. it involves artists painting large murals on local buildings. Here is the largest one we saw. We live by two rivers, so fishing is a big deal here.
We actually happened to pass by when the artist was still painting it! The umbrella was to keep the full sun off of him.
There's a fine
line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

Great picture! That parasol umbrella is a good idea. ❤️
Always interesting to watch mural artists at work! :)
That's an impressive looking mural. He's very talented.
Oh how beautiful!! I love to paint...have been doing it since the 1980s. It was called "tole painting" back then. Now I think it's called "decorative painting". But I still wouldn't know how to tackle a HUGE mural like this. Gorgeous! ~Andrea xoxo
I love that so many places are painting murals. This is a good one!
Beautiful. I love seeing an artist at work.
Love the talents of those who can paint murals like this. Amazing!
when my parents fished I sat in a chair in the sand reading a book... the photos of the mural are amazing. GREAT JOB on the photography and Wow and WOW WOW on the mural and the gifted artists creating it. Now this is the kind of fishing I wish I could do......
your were in the right place at the right time....
That's great that they had this festival for murals. The young man certainly has a lot of talent. Murals brighten up a building that's for sure and thanks for sharing this one Ginny. You always find the perfect quotes too :)
Very cool celebrational art of what your area loves to do, fish. Neato!
That is a big one. Lots of talent to paint on such a big scale.
I am totally 100% IMPRESSED!
That is a very good fish to be showcased
This art mural is turning out nicely. There are some talented artists out there. I didn't realize you came from a big fishing town. I've always thought it to be a peaceful sport.
Happy June Ginny!
