The Asters are here, in all their purple glory! I think this must be one of the most pretty fall flowers that is kind of ignored.
The bees sure don't ignore them though.
Starry blooms in twilight’s glow,
Purple whispers soft and low.
Last to bloom, yet first to charm—
Asters wrap the fall in calm.

Lovely poem, Ginny, and the asters are indeed in their purple π glory. Gorgeous photos.
A sweet poem. The asters are very pretty. These in the pictures are very showy. I didn't realize they grew that tall.
I don't think I have ever seen them in real life. they look like purple daisies. so beautiful.. part of God's crayola box of colors
They are so pretty! I've always admired them in the Fall. We just bought a few of them and planted them in a new flower bed.
Just gorgeous, Ginny, and I did love your poem at the end. Blessings!
Ginny - how in the world did you capture that bee on those beautiful flowers?
Ginny, I am so happy your shared the aster. I have this exact aster in our front garden. I agree, they seem to get ignored. They are a haven for the bees.
I do love your poem and the asters are so full of Joy. What a splendid splash of color for Fall.

Beautiful, Ginny--the photos AND the poem! SO glad there are a few flowers that carry us through the fall.
Those asters are so nice. Wow. I don’t see them growing around here - I wonder why? Maybe doesn’t grow well in our zone. They sure are pretty though.
They're gorgeous!
These are so pretty. My favorite is the third one up from the bottom, with the bee.
Purple in Halloween is one of my faves. We have purple lights and orange. So fun. Flowers are very, very pretty. ππ§‘π€ππ§‘π€ππ·️πΈ️π»π
