Today is a different kind of pumpkin patch. A wooden one! They look like some kind of wooden spools that were painted. I believe they were three for $10.00. Yes, I was tempted to buy one or two. I may yet go back and buy two, they would look good with one on each side of the stoop.
Carved from timber,
smooth and round,
No vines to twist
along the ground.
No rot, no fade, just
autumn’s grace,
In every grain, a
warm embrace.
Wooden pumpkins,
quiet and true—
A rustic ode to skies
of blue.

People are so creative and clever aren't they? Love the poem and your photos.
That's a lot of wood pumpkins. A clever idea. It kind of looks like a telephone pole cut in to small pieces. I see there are also square ones too
Those are darling, Ginny. Yes, I think you should go back & get some. Love, Andrea xoxo

Those wooden pumpkins are unique, Ginny. I like the vibrant orange color and the little stem on top. I noticed a couple pink ones too. The quote is perfect for your post. : )
