I am a day late with our calendar! I actually did not get to take it off the wall and change it till today. So, here it is.
- “October,
baptize me with leaves! Swaddle me in corduroy and nurse me with split pea
soup. October, tuck tiny candy bars in my pockets and carve my smile into
a thousand pumpkins. O autumn! O teakettle! O grace!”

Ginny, the poem is beautiful. The calendar is gorgeous, I love the illustrations and Scriptures!!!
I love that poem! This is my favorite time of year.
It's very pretty. Perfect picture for fall
Such a beautiful choice of words for October. So warm and full of imagery. I can almost feel the crunch of leaves and taste the soup just reading it. A lovely way to welcome the new month.
Beautiful photos. I was just thinking today about the fact that it is about time to enjoy a cup of hot tea each day. I love my coffee, but I look forward to hot tea and I rarely drink it in the summer.
I love the calendar pictures and the poem! And some split pea soup sounds good.
