Here is Phil as he waits in the doctor's office. Good news; a diagnosis of bursitis and an injection likely fixed it.
In front of the building were Japanese Anemones!
The first pretty tree of the fall!
The sun was low driving home.
And this is the worst time of day for deer running across the road!
The overlook toward the mountaintop.
NONE of the trees in the next photos were this color. They were all green. But it was the evening sun on them that made them look golden.
“In fall, the yellow trees don’t just
change—they glow. Like sunlight caught in leaves, they turn every path into a
golden memory.”

I love the quotation, and your photos are gorgeous, dear friend! I love your header and background too! You have tremendous talent for changing them so often!
What a great post! I'm so happy the doctor's visit was a success, and I love the pictures.
Hello Phil and that is excellent news. Great photos too.
That's good news about Phil. Looks like a nice scenic drive. Lots of deer running here now too. Makes me nervous driving home when it's dark
Great news for Phil. Hope he feels a lot better. Goodness, such beauty all around y'all. the sun shining on the trees is so awesome!! looks like fire reds with a mix of oranges. On my bucker list to see that area some day during the fall season.
Glad Phil had a good report!
I love anemones.
The sun on the trees is beautiful!
Hope Phil is feeling better in no time! I hate driving at dawn and dusk right now. I'm always worried about a deer running in front of my car!
I am praying for Phil. I like the photo you shared of him. He has a sweet smile.
